Welcome to CFS
My name is Michael and I’m a 37 year old male who was diagnosed with CFS in August 2016. I’m going to beat Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and share my journey with you. I’m not a doctor and spent most of my career behind a computer working in silicon valley.
In 2015 I took a lot more than I can handle. I’d wake up feeling exhausted, achy, confused and depressed but wasn’t sure why. My mind and body wasn’t working right. I had to give up activities I loved doing because I didn’t have the concentration (Brain fog) or energy. This is what happened to me and what it’s like to have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS).
It’s now 2017 and happy to say that I’m doing much better. 🙂
I will beat Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
You’re not alone…
More than one million Americans have CFS. This illness strikes more people in the United States than multiple sclerosis, lupus, and many forms of cancer says the CDC.
To sum it up, CFS is a complex disorder characterized by extreme fatigue that is not improved by sleep and may be worsened by physical or mental activity.
